Complete renovation and reconfiguration of the existing kitchen and children’s play room in an 1890s colonial home. The new design opened up the wall between the spaces and incorporated all new windows and a new side door for better access to the existing covered porch. The kitchen sink and window were aligned to center perfectly on the enclosed kitchen garden outside. The former kitchen space became a new breakfast area with a feature display wall for the client’s large cookbook and platter collection.
