Located 15 minutes south of downtown Pittsburgh, Devlin Architecture’s staff practices architecture, interior design and master planning, with an expertise in custom residential, multi-family and urban planning. Our clients range from commercial and residential developers to nonprofits, private individuals and corporations. Our work encompasses projects from custom residential and multi-family housing, to commercial and hospitality. We are accustomed to working in a wide variety of physical settings, from rural green fields to dense inner city sites. We are willing collaborators with other design professionals to realize complex assignments from our many clients.

Douglas R. Devlin, AIA – Principal
Mr. Devlin, founder and principal of Devlin Architecture, is a registered architect and urban planner licensed in several states. His career encompasses a wide array of project types including: residential (custom single-family, multi-family of all types including market rate, low income, and HOPE VI), commercial, community facilities, professional offices, health care and hospitality. Mr. Devlin has designed master plans for residential neighborhoods as well as mixed-use projects. As an urban designer, his focus lies in community housing design and feasibility analysis for real estate development.
Mr. Devlin earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters in Urban Design and Planning from the University of Washington. During his graduate studies, he participated in the Rome Studies Program. He, and his family live in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
